Deep Research is the part of Sherpa, an AI platform for AWS, that answers strategic questions with a written report. A leader asks a question in plain English, such as where to cut cloud spend this year without adding risk, or which workloads should move to Graviton. Specialist AI agents then investigate across the company's own AWS data, including Cost and Usage Data, inventory and security findings, and produce a findings-first report that can be downloaded as a PDF and shared with the board or the engineering team. Deep Research differs from Sherpa's chat: chat answers a question in the moment, while Deep Research investigates a bigger decision and documents what it found.
